I’m a Norwich graduate turned Northfield Resident. The idea for this company started 20 years ago when I was scouring thrift shops and yard sales looking for all size and variety brass candlestick for centerpieces at my own wedding!
In retirement from my “real job” (I was a fundraiser for many years) my plan was to open a series of complimentary businesses all revolving around keeping classic, heirloom quality vintage and antique items out of the trash and used, even if the way they are used was not their intended purpose. Think of a really cool enamel colander with some chips and rust that now serves as a beautiful planter for a kitchen herb garden! Or a typewriter filled with flowers that also serves as a centerpiece and table number holder at a wedding.
Karen has been a florist since she grew up in her family's flower shop. For many years, she owned her own thriving business in Cape Cod before moving up to Vermont. Karen has a real gift for coordinating flowers with bespoke items. She can bring any vision to life!
